Children's Sleep Disorders and ADHD
Some experts say as many as 70%-80% of all patients with ADHD have difficulty sleeping. By far, the most common complaint is not being able to fall asleep. One study demonstrated that patients with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) vary nightly on how long it takes to fall asleep by as much as 2 to 3 hours, while those without ADHD normally fall alseep within 40 minutes.
